Born on November 11th in KOBE.
His passionate and energetic music career begins as the vocalist and bassist of the legendary rock band "E.B.S.", formed in 1971. Since then, he has worked with a great number of talented musicians and continues to do so today.
When the Great Hanshin Earthquake hits Kobe on January 17th 1995,and the people, the city itself and even time turns into Zero, Sho goes back to the basics.His solo music career comprising of only his voice and beloved bass-guitar begins. The "One and Only Sho's World" is created.
His powerful bass play, an embodiment of the true spirit of rock... his power of expression in both English and Japanese.... his large music scope that covers all genres.... Sho is truly one of a kind; an artist who brings a world of wonderand mystery to those who come to listen....

1971	Forms legendary blues band "E.B.S." (Eddie, Buken & Sho)
	Creates a duet band with blues singer CHARLIE
1988	Forms "RBJ" ; writes the T.V. commercial song for Toyota MR2.
1989	Forms "SHO'S GANG" Records the theme song for the great JRA jockey "Mihonoburubon Jockey Sadao Kojima" Records the JR T.V. commercial song commemorating the opening of the Seto Ohashi Bridge, etc.
	Joins the MIKI HOUSE / Musical all Japan tour
1990	Starts his D-J career on AM KOBE's "Exotic Station Midnight SHO Club", a popular show that continues for 6 years
	Begins supporting musician and friend, Halko Kuwana Releases CD-album "HALKO" recorded in Maui, Hawaii (June 1991); omnibus CD-album "Edoya Hyakkasenn" (January 1992); "Love letter from Hawaii" recorded in Hawaii (1994)
1994	Forms the duet band "TEN-SEI BLUES LINE" with a leading musicianfrom Kyoto, Yasushi Nishino
1995	Appears as a guest musician at "The 8th Technics World Music Festival", held in Jakarta, Indonesia
	Produces and holds the Hanshin Awaji Earthquake Aid Concert "FOR TOMORROW" across the country
1996	Releases "I'LL SING THE BLUES FOR YA!" with TEN-SEI BLUES LINE
	Joins acoustic unit "YANOMANS"
1997	Forms "ARIZONA" with Kiyoshige Wada and Masaaki Takano
1998	Re-produces and brings back the legendary rock event "ROCK IN ROCKO" Produces brand new rock event "KOBE ★ ROCK DAY I" in order to revitalize Kobe's rock scene. This has turned into an annual rock event and celebrated its 7th year in 2004
	Appears in KOBE SUPER PICKERS / CD-Album "DUSK and DAWN"
1999	Releases first solo album "MORE LIGHT, MORE BLUE..."
	Releases "TRANCE" with E.B.S.
2000	Releases "SINCERELY YOURS" with TEN-SEI BLUES LINE
	Forms a progressive happy unit "DOVE (Double Love)" with reggae musician KAJA
2001	Releases "With the Wind" with YANOMANS
	RE-starts his special unit "S.H.A.T" with Halko Kuwana
2002	Appears in "SUNSET Live SASEBO" with Masaki Ueda as special guest
2003	Together with KAJA, produces a charity concert for children who live in war zones All proceeds from the concert go to UNICEF.This concert is now an annual one that takes place in April every year
2004	Together with KAJA, releases the charity concert theme song"LOVE & PEACE"
	Releases solo album "BASS & VOICE"
Sho has and continues to play with a large number of musicians including Osamu Ishida, Ryo Kagawa,Itsuro Shimoda,Kondo Husanosuke, Toshiro Masuda, CHAKA,Ryuichiro Seno, Higashihara Rikiya, Nakagawa Isato, Ariyama Junji, Shiotugu Sinji, Ohtuka Masaji,KAJA, Makoto Ayukawa, Masaki Ueda, Masahiro Kuwana ,Haruko Kuwana,Kobayashi Emi, Kyoji Yamamoto, Raven Ohtani, Hirokuni Korekata, Takashi Furuya, Chie Ayado, Ponta Murakami,Rikuo etc. He also invites various guest musicians to his regular live performances, one of them being his Hanshin Earthquake charity gig "Last Sunday Blues Night", which takes place every last Sunday of the month at Kobe Kitano-cho's T2 Gakuya. He is also a multi talent, active in the production and sound direction ofTV commercials.

1991 May		RBJ / RBJ (S-0312D) Forms a powerful R&B band with Issei Endo, Yasushi Nishino, and Masakazu Osabe. Records the legendary album "T-BUS GOING TO SOUTH".
1994 Apr		Merry Go Round / Utae Chikyu no Nakamatachi (OCP 1001) Actively tours the country to bring the "Real Spirit of Rock 'n Roll" to the children of Japan. An album that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Includes "Grandfather's Clock" "Do Re Mi (ROCK Ver.)" etc.
1995 May		GODOOR / Kaze ni notte from KOBE (RD 117) A message song written soon after the Great Hanshin Earthquake to let Japan know that Kobe is striving to rebuild itself. A special unit that later leads to YANOMANS.
1996 Mar		TEN-SEI BLUES LINE / I'LL SONG THE BLUES FOR YA! (DZ 004) First album with TEN-SEI BLUES LINE, a special unit with Yasushi Nishino. A deluxe album that features special guests including Takashi Furuya, Bobby Hara and Emi Kobayashi etc. Records "YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL".
1999 May		SHO AMANO / MORE LIGHT, MORE BLUE... (KN 0010) Sho's much awaited solo album featuring HARD ROCK, BLUES and BALLADS The album is supported by ARIZONA and features specials guests inlcuding Kazuo Shimada (ex Yuukadan), Emi Kobayashi, Kei and Yasushi Nishino, Masakazu Osabe and Andre Sato.
1999 Jun		EDDIE, BUKEN & SHO / TRANCE (ML 3611) E.B.S.'s first album after 30 years of playing together! A powerful live recording album. Listen to the dense and high pressured sound of SHO AMANO's rock roots. This album is dedicated to the memories of a great friend, the late Kenji Ohmura.

2004 Apr		DOVE / LOVE & PEACE (MDDV 0404) Theme song from the charity concert produced by SHO and KAJA. All proceeds from this album go to children in war torn zones through UNICEF.
